Public event ‘Challenges and perspectives for Lake Constance in a changing climate’.

On 26 January 2023, starting at 6 p.m., a public event will be held at the Münzhof in Langenargen, in cooperation with the Langenargen Municipality and the Institute for Lake Research, in which experts and representatives of the local authorities will participate. The programme is attached. Admission is free of charge. The event is in Germany

Udo Gattenlöhner, Director General of GNF (Global Nature Fund) in Radolfzell, will speak with a report on the LIFE Blue Lakes project entitled “Microplastics in inland waters”.

Lake Constance is the most studied ecosystem of a pre-alpine lake for over 100 years. This is also thanks to the Langenargen Institute for Lake Research, which is part of the commercial division of the Baden-Württemberg State Institute for the Environment LUBW.
The Lake Constance Lake Research Association supports the Institute financially and ideally. This is why they are organising the public event.
